After nearly 20 years “in-training” at a large, local firm, Bart Delp began Delp Monument Company in August of 2000. Concerned by what he saw as cold and impersonal sales and operational methods, he envisioned a more user-friendly business model where customers could relax and make informed decisions, as opposed to being pressured in their time of grief and mourning.

As this vision took hold and sales mounted, Sally came into the business. The couple now resides in the 1850’s farmhouse on the property, conducting business in their cozy, welcoming office just a few steps away. They invite you to stop in, confident you’ll find the experience worthwhile.

A few years ago a local woman stopped in with her father to help him choose a double monument for himself and his late wife, her mother. Unbeknownst to us, she had lost a son somewhat recently and purchased from another local firm. Without going into details, she made it clear the experience was disheartening and that she was not entirely pleased with the process and the finished product. At
some point during our conversation she looked up and said, “I wish I would have known about you guys, I would have come here.”
